Want something printed?

I primarily use my machines to print my own work, but I am happy to help you with yours when time permits! I currently do not offer file prep services. If you are unfamiliar with preparing your work for riso printing, I can point you towards some resources.

Let me know the paper size, ink colors, and edition size and I can give you cost estimate. Turn-around is typically 2 weeks from when I receive your final files for print.

Most art printing projects cost $0.75 to $2.00 per print. Most book projects cost between $2.50 to 5.00 per book.

I offer staple binding, pamphlet stitch or spiral binding, and I can trim books to custom sizes.

Size Limitations:
The maximum size for art prints is 8.5” x 14”
The maximum size for staple-bound and sewn books is 7” x 8.5”
(typical size is 5.5” x 8.5”).
The maximum size for spiral-bound books is 8.5” x 11” (letter size).

Risograph Workshops

I teach Risograph workshops at The Compound Gallery & Studios in Oakland, CA. Workshops cover the ins and outs of the machine and the types of projects that translate well to Riso printing. We will also discuss file prep, paper selection, design for multi-color printing, and troubleshooting common problems, with an overview of Bay Area Risograph resources. Each participant has the opportunity to print an edition of two-color prints.

Tell your boss you want to learn about Risograph printing! We offer private workshops if you have a group or team interested in learning to print together. Contact The Compound Gallery for more information or to schedule a team-building/private workshop.
